Digital Marketing Manager – Bilingual (English/Mandarin)

The Digital Marketing Manager provides executional and strategic support for the Marketing and Sales teams in Ontario and BC and support the expanding marketing and promotions efforts as digital business demands grow. Additionally, the position drives the successful development and implementation of digital programs including social media, SEO/SEM, email and web site development.

  • Assist in the writing, editing, and proofreading (in Mandarin) of marketing content, including web pages, email, social media, and print materials

  • Manage copy writing partnerships and translations for any digital platforms as required

  • Assist in researching and sharing social media and press content related to SnapPay’s key successes and impact area

  • Management and coordination of digital campaigns

  • Develop campaign dashboards, analyze campaign results, derive insights and implement enhancements to improve effectiveness and ROI

  • Design, build and maintain social media presence

  • Establish an email data base for merchants and consumers, and support the deployment of ongoing e-blasts and/or eNewsletters

  • Responsible for working with regional marketing teams to review and determine the right targeted campaigns

  • Oversee and execute social media campaigns of varying size and complexity to support business objectives

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and stay current with digital marketing trends

  • Identify opportunities for digital lead generation and collaborate with sales and channel to execute these strategies

Job Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent in digital marketing, marketing, communications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity

  • Proficiency in Mandarin

  • Previous experience marketing Alipay and or WeChat Pay and or other payment products and services

  • Experience editing/writing for social media and content marketing

  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe, Content Management Systems, and Social Media middleware

  • Strong SEO foundation – link-building

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a high-demand environment while demonstrating professionalism and good judgment

  • Impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills
